The Challenge
Change in the media consumption habits of their target audiences was pushing MAICU to expand their communications efforts to other media channels besides their traditional brochure. They were eager to explore ways to create an interactive means to dynamically present the success stories and performance data of their members.
They wanted a story told through rich media that conveyed the emotions of pride, excitement, and success behind the facts in the printed brochure they had been using exclusively.
The Solution
Caylor Solutions took time with the communications team and executive leadership listening to the needs and objectives of the new marketing objectives while reviewing MAICU’s current marketing materials.
They worked with the MAICU team to establish key messaging points, a storyboard for the way the visuals would be presented, and an overall project plan. Caylor Solutions provided designers and videographers who created an engaging video piece to be used for public presentations and digital promotion.
Pains were taken to ensure the accurate portrayal of the data in each marketing communication.
Caylor Solutions provided designers and videographers who created an engaging video piece to be used for public presentations and digital promotion.
The Result
The result was a one minute and forty second, fast-paced video showing how private higher education means “More for Maryland” with less cost for taxpayers and more for students, more regions covered, more programs offered, and more degrees awarded then other institutions within the state. Their message has struck a chord for their key audiences: policy makers, parents and students, and their member colleges.
