Staying at the top of their game since their inception in 1873 has been the product of a fierce commitment to staying at the forefront of their field.

The Challenge

Drury’s vice president of enrollment was afraid they were losing that spirit of innovation. They weren’t “keeping up” with the digital revolution—and because of it, he was sure they were losing opportunities to reach an even larger audience of prospective students.

The solution was a natural one for the teaching university staff: Schedule a training seminar to learn what they needed to do to shore up their social media strategy.

 

The Solution

Drury University brought in Caylor Solutions to train both the admissions and marketing teams together to “help us find the edges of social media.”

Before the event, Caylor Solutions met with the VP and marketing director to discuss the conversation points they wanted to cover during the seminar. He wanted to move beyond using social media as just a public relations outlet to a tool that engaged prospective students.

During the event, the Caylor Solutions team centered the conversation around how prospective students use various social media channels, and then presented the best practices for colleges and universities to engage prospective students on social media.

Leveraging years of experience implementing and managing social media strategies, Caylor also provided several practical next steps to immediately impact Drury’s marketing. Follow up emails with the social media coordinator also recommended automation tools and tips.
